St. Louis Housing Market
Spring has sprung in St. Louis! Spring is always such a beautiful time in the St. Louis area. I tell my "winter" buyers that if they love the home they purchase in the winter, they will REALLY love it in the spring. We are definitely seeing more buyer activity and sellers have geared up for our "spring" market. Our spring market is NOW! We are seeing a fresh new crop of homes come on the market and many homes that have been sitting in inventory are selling.
Interest rates are still attractive and remain below the 6.5% mark. The homes that are priced well and that are in mint condition are selling quickly. Buyers looking for a good deal should look at the homes that have been on the market for awhile. Some may need some updating, but the sellers are motivated to get their homes sold!
If you are looking to sell, get your home in top show condition. Declutter, clean and price right! If you are looking to buy, get preapproved. Look at homes that have been on the market for awhile for a "deal".
